Group Therapy Offerings
In addition to individual therapy, I offer group therapy and would love for you to join.
On an ongoing basis, I run Narrative Focused Trauma groups. These groups invite 4-6 individuals at a time to engage in key stories from their childhood and early life that have shaped them.
These groups run for 6-9 week periods, meeting weekly on Zoom. Cost and information below on how to join.
The Intention of Narrative Focused Trauma Groups:
Trauma is that which leaves you disintegrated, meaning you are left with parts of yourself abandoned, hidden or covered in shame. Whether acute, or more covert, trauma’s impact is on the body, heart, and mind. These groups take on the slow movement and journey of returning to the parts of yourself that were left behind.
Over the weeks together, participants will share written stories of their experiences of trauma, harm, abandonment and pain. They will bring their story to be known, witnessed and cared for by me as well as their group members. This type of trauma work is modeled after the Allender Center’s Narrative Focus Trauma work, which I have been trained in.
My hope is for each person to gain a deeper understanding of the nature and impact of trauma and abuse as it relates to story. As I engage your story, you will grow in awareness of how it has shaped your identity, style of relating, attachment and relationships. You will engage your cycles of shame and contempt, gaining nuanced understanding of self whilst being witnessed and held by the other members of your group.

Cost: The cost of this group is $80 per weekly session.
